OVEN TRAY CHAIR

The piece explores how everyday, standardised objects can be re-appropriated and elevated through minimal intervention. Built from coated pine, galvanised fittings and an oven tray, the chair maintains a sense of material honesty while subtly challenging domestic norms. The use of pipe insulation as a soft interface redefines comfort within an industrial logic, allowing the object to oscillate between the familiar and the experimental.
